BitterRoot Builders is a licensed and insured handyman service based in Boise, Idaho, serving homeowners across the Treasure Valley, Mountain Home, and Twin Falls. We specialize in the kind of residential work that most people need but not everyone does well: door and window repairs, drywall fixes, deck building, siding patches, painting, and custom outdoor structures like gazebos and pergolas. We also draft residential blueprints, which is something you won't find on most handyman business cards. We've been at it since 2006 and we're not going anywhere.

Richard Davis

Richard Davis has been in the building trades for roughly 30 years. He got his start working for an architecture firm in Rexburg, Idaho, where he learned how to draft blueprints and developed the eye for detail that still drives his work today. From there he moved into general contracting, managing commercial construction projects from the ground up. In 2006 he founded BitterRoot Builders to focus on what he enjoys most: working directly with homeowners on the projects that matter to them. Richard is hands-on with every job, and he'll tell you honestly what needs fixing, what can wait, and what it's going to cost. When he says "if you can dream it, we can build it," he means it.
