Boise's Handyman With A Builder's Eye

BitterRoot Builders has been handling residential repairs and improvements across the Boise area since 2006. From fixing doors and patching drywall to building custom decks, gazebos, and pergolas, we bring nearly 30 years of hands-on trade experience to every job. We're licensed, insured, and focused on the kind of work that keeps your home comfortable and looking the way it should.

Stuck doors, drafty windows, worn-out frames. We install and repair them all so your home stays comfortable and secure year-round.

From brand new custom builds to fixing the boards and railings that Idaho weather has beaten up over the years.

Designed and built from scratch to fit your yard, your style, and your budget. Not from a kit, not from a catalog. Yours.

Free Estimate, Fair Price, Done Right

You call, we come take a look. We'll walk through what needs to happen, give you an honest assessment, and put together a free estimate with no surprises. Once you give the green light, we schedule the work around your timeline. We show up when we say we will, we keep the site clean, and we don't call a job done until it looks the way it should. Nearly 30 years in the trades means we know what right looks like and we won't settle for less.

Richard Davis is the owner and operator of BitterRoot Builders LLC, a licensed and insured residential handyman and building service based in Boise, Idaho, serving the Treasure Valley since 2006.

Architecture Firm Trained, Handyman Priced

BitterRoot Builders started in 2006, but the experience behind it goes back a lot further. Before starting the company, our owner Richard Davis spent years working for an architecture firm in Rexburg and went on to manage commercial construction projects across Idaho. That background means every repair, every build, and every blueprint we draft comes with an eye for how things are actually supposed to look. These days we focus on residential work because that's where we can make the biggest difference for homeowners.
